About the House

Prinsengracht 841 is typical of the canal houses found lining the primary canal rings that define Amsterdam. Like most others of it's kind, our house is narrow and tall. It is four floors, with our apartment occupying the top two floors while the owner stays on the first two. Also like almost all canal houses, it tilts quite noticably to one side. The angle of the tilt becomes more severe as you move up.
